Ryan Phillippe, We Have Our (THIRD) Eye On YOU

Is it just us, or...

could Ryan Phillippe in some way fulfill Heath Ledger's unlived potential, dream the undreamt dreams of a talented life cut short? At the very least, he will plug up, if only for a brief moment, the gaping hole in the zeitgeist that was left by Heath's untimely departure from this mortal coil (Brooklyn). WE THINK!

Katrina's Heroes

The state of the world and country have improved very little since Katrina, despite Brad Pitt's best efforts, so we find ourselves with heavy hearts and few words for the anniversary. But if we say anything at all, we must thank Spike Lee for "When the Levees Broke" and we must, at the very LEAST, tip our hats to the woman who may save us all (since it doesn't look like Lindsay Lohan will...). Her name is Phyllis Montana LeBlanc!
