Flavor Flav Before All This Recent Bullshit
We were watching the Comedy Central Roast of Flavor Flav and were wondering, what would Chuck D do? Or think? Or say about all this recent bullshit? The pageantry and spectacle of the roast (plus the hilarious and unscheduled side roast of Carrot Top by Patton Oswalt) got us thinking about how VH1's Celebreality might be bringing the public consciousness down a little. Just a tad. We didn't come up with much, other than a desire to share this dope Public Enemy video for "Night of the Living Baseheads." In other words, conscious political rap in a rare, RAW form.
