Breaking News: Andrew Keen Doesn't Get It

So Andrew Keen, the guy who writes this blog, officially sucks. His new book, The Cult of the Amateur, attempts to explain how the internet is destroying culture. Apparently, the professional class (and thus culture) is being squeezed out of public discourse as more and more ignorant plebians decide to set up webpages, clogging up all the internet tubes with non-professional drivel.

When Stephen Colbert suggests that this theory might perhaps be just a little bit elitist, Mr. Keen replies, "What's wrong with that?"

Sir Richard Branson started a water fight with Stephen Colbert. For real. We're not making this one up. We would, but we didn't. It happened on the set of the Colbert Report- details are still trickling in!

Lindsay Lohan was no where near the scene (at least we don't THINK she was). And Brit Brit's crazy ass was home with her boo boos. We would have expected this kind of shit from the likes of Hollywood's young tragic messes, but no. It was just barmy old Sir Richard, some water, and an ego that's probably unfit for saving the world.
